I did some fabric hunting last weekend and found some real gems. Check out this lovely chunky table linen from the thrift store – I think I’m going to use it for a summer throw. No point in subjecting this beauty to food spillage on the table.
Leftover gingham from our wedding tablecloths = recycled bow tie gold. I tried to get Pete to wear it to work… no success yet… BUT SOON- Mabye. Come on… with a chambray shlubby shirt and some burnt orange pants & adidas high tops? Yes please. Want to make your own bow tie? Stay tuned for some gauzy wedding dress fabric from Portland Garment Factory turned children’s dreamy play capes in my next post. I was lucky enough to catch PGF’s fabric sale they hold every 2 years, and got some goodies for less than $1 a yard on the bolt.
